DU Panel is self-hosted management software. It does not host, store, or supply any streams, channels, or media. You run it on infrastructure you control to deliver only content you own or are authorized to distribute, and you alone are responsible for it. We never see, access, or control what operators do with their installations.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the DU Panel software and the website and checkout at dupanel.app (together, the “Service”). By installing, accessing, or paying for the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
DU Panel is a self-hosted media-management application that an operator installs on their own server or virtual private server. It provides tools to organize, transcode, schedule, and deliver media and to manage users of the operator’s own system. DU Panel does not provide, host, store, index, or supply any media, streams, channels, playlists, or electronic programme guides. All content and data on an installation are supplied and controlled entirely by the operator who runs it.
You are solely and fully responsible for your installation, for everything it delivers, and for your own users. You agree that you will:
You must not use the Service to:
DU Panel is self-hosted. We do not operate your server, and we have no access to, visibility into, or control over the content, streams, users, or activity on your installation. We cannot and do not monitor, review, or moderate what operators do with their panels. Any licensing signal exchanged with our service is limited to verifying an active licence and does not transmit your media or user data to us.
Subject to these Terms and an active subscription or trial, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of DU Panel per licensed server for its intended purpose. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the software itself; copy or distribute it beyond your licensed servers; or reverse-engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to bypass its licensing or protection mechanisms, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
A new installation may receive one free trial per server. The trial is limited to one per physical server and is not renewable by reinstalling, reformatting, changing the operating system, or changing the email used. Attempting to obtain multiple trials, or to circumvent trial limits or payment, is a breach of these Terms.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal). Your subscription begins on the date of purchase and renews automatically each month until cancelled. Card and payment details are handled entirely by the processor; we never receive or store them. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and a refund, reversal, or chargeback may result in immediate suspension of the associated licence.
We may suspend or terminate your licence or access if you breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use section), if a payment is refunded, reversed, or disputed, or as required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and the panel will cease to operate once it can no longer verify an active licence.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will meet your requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to the Service — including any content delivered through, or any use made of, your installation. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DU Panel and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your installation, the content or streams you deliver, your use of the Service, your users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted on this page, with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.
